Re: Does anyone know what guitar this it?

sure,
it was really 'made in USA' RG, made by PBC guitars.
the neck is called 'tension free', don't have any idea what is that, never played one before.
body is alder with figured maple top.
pickups standard Ibanez spec : tone zone and paf pro.
trem : lo pro edge

if you are asking, what so special about it, i have to answer.. the free tension neck thing that never ever happened on other RG.

Re: Does anyone know what guitar this it?

the tension free neck thing has something to do with like two aluminum rods that somehow act as a normal truss rod...i think. except you adjust it from at the neck joint or something.

Re: Does anyone know what guitar this it?

I think the tension-free neck has a rod (like a truss rod?) that takes the load from the string on their own; that you could remove the neck and have a headstock supported by the rods alone with the strings - as strange as that is to imagine.
I may be odd man out, but I always thought the USRGs were a bit gaudy. I hope the next USRG looks better...

...if they get made.

Re: Does anyone know what guitar this it?

That is a real gem of a guitar there.

The headstock of the tension free neck is normally an additional piece of wood, rather than being part of the neck. You will find the access holes to the tension rods sit in between the screw holes in the neck (where it joins into the joint in the guitar body).
