ive got the RG2570.. killer looks.. but that depends if you are particular about your style or looks when playing.. it tends too look a little like a rock star when you play it.. i was once playing it in a jazz song and the crowd just went like ' hey, did they got the right guy for the show?'

I have the 2550 and Im very happy with it, pick ups aside. I think it looks better than your alternative, has pretty much all the features you could want for playing the whole breadth of styles- shame about the appaling pick ups but even then, u can rip them out and with the H-s-H option, customise the set up to whatever pick ups you want. I'd highly recommend it, very fast neck as well btw, I could never play hammett's second solo on Metallica's "One" until I got this guitar Then again I was playing a complete piece-o-dump before this so maybe I just noticed the jump in quality more. Anyway, get the 2550!!!

Thanx for the replies...It would be nice to see some pics of these guitars in action...if it's not a to difficult for you guys?
...and considering the neck, i at the moment have a PGM30 which has great neck...so i hope that it's even better on these models...

the necks are different... I myself cant stand the Super Wizard profile, too thin and flat, feels like a ruler, especially playing in that "rock" hand position (with thumb over the neck).
