Does a European 1527 include a hardcase?

Hi everyone.

I ordered one in Poland, Cosmic Blue with Ultra neck.
It's being delivered to the store from Japan. Expected at the end of January.

I'm just wondering if it comes from Japan in a box or in a hard case .

Anyone knows?

Thanks

Oh, and I also ordered a neck Blaze 7 Dimarzio with it. They only had this one available.
What would you suggest for a bridge pickup. Another Blaze?

No it does not, well, mine came in a cardboard box with a leather like print on it ;-)

But there's only one color in europe: black. I'm 99% shure that a cosmic blue rg1527 will not have a ultra neck. You may or may not believe me, but i strongly recommend you to double check your order.

way off topic: Can someone explain me were the smilies are hidden in vbulletin?

Sorry, I just checked - it's gonna be RB, not CB. So I guess this is the new 2005 model.

Re: Does a European 1527 include a hardcase?

I ordered it in December from a Polish Ibanez dealer called INTERTON.
They said they didn't have any 7strings in stock and I'd have to wait for a new delivery due in February. I agreed.
I expected the 1527 BP but they called me back and said it was going to be 1527 RB.
Back then I thought it was just a colour change but a few days ago I saw some photos of 2005 model posted on this forum. Hell yeah, I LOVE IT.
The price is 775 euro, but I still don't know if that includes a hardcase.

P.S. RG 1527 RB is also available on german Musik Produktiv site:

Check out the RRP!?

You're a lucky guy if you catched the 1527 RB for 775Ä; it seems like the current price is more like 880Ä (including HSC) and even more in some places (like France ).

I currently have 2 1527cb's, I've replaced the pickups in both. 1 has Air norton 7 in the neck and Tone zone 7 in the bridge. This is my favorite guitar,,,, it's very warm and the way the pickups are eq'd it works very nice with the Bad horsie pedal. This guitar has sort of a Dream theater feel to the tone,,,,sort of like from the 6 degree album or scenes from a memory.

The other guitar #2 has a blaze in the neck and a blaze custom in the bridge. We all know the blaze for neck just rocks. The custom in the bridge is very cool,,,a little warmer than the normal blaze but not quite as big as the tone zone,,, it's sort of a inmature version of the TZ7. I don't mean that in a bad way,,,,it's just a little brighter,,, great for fast chops very clean and still warm,,,it seems to have a crisper definition to the notes. But some of that is the wood as well. These 2 guitars sounded different with the stock pickups in them so comparison is as always full of variables. However if I had to try and pick a sound to match to #2 I would say,,, it's got sort of a Passion and Warfare sound to it. I realize Steve really didn't use the 7 exclusively on that album but the tone is in that area. Cleaner, simpler not all grown up and rounded off like the Tz7.
