Does this exist?

I want an Ibanez with the same body specs as the S540 in a purple burst color but with two hums instead of the hum/single/hum. Everytime I play I end up digging into the middle pickup. I love the neck and body dimensions. My question is does the afformentioned guitar exist?

Re: Does this exist?

They only made s540's with two humbuckers in 1988 and '89 I believe. You can see the pics here:

I have REALLY REALLY wanted that particular model but have never been able to find one. So just recently bought an S540 with a hum/sing/hum configuration and had the single coil cavity filled and completely sanded over. Then I had the body repainted in a really nice pearl white color. I'll post pics here as soon as it's done getting rewired with new pickups

See ya

Re: Does this exist?

I removed the single coil from my S540LTD and just covered the hole with a Beck's Dark label

Re: Does this exist?

why not just try to lower the mid PU down to the same level as the body surface? that's what i did with my H-S-H RG since my other guitar is H-H
