Just to clear up for a few.... the 'Finish' is just a clear coat. all the other markings are all a natural part of the wood. .Spalted Maple.

Actually I like the finish on that, but would change the headstock for a traditional pointy Jackson one though.

I like the Spalted finish, the inlays are cheezy, but they look alright on the board. Overall it's very cool for a V.

Thats absolutely killer man.The finish and the neck is just beautiful. I didnt like V's until I played an old Kramer that was made of aluminum when I was playin out in San Diego and my neighbor had one. There actually comfortable to play imo.

This is a beautiful guitar. Nice choice of wood; the maple looks fantastic on her. And I think the choice of headstock looks fantastic on the King V as well. the Jackson Custom Shop does outstanding work, which is what the thread was about I think, not this one example. If I had the dough, I'd go with Jackson myself over PRS or BC Rich.
