Don't hate me! Please!

Alright this is probably not a great place to post this but I feel the Jemsite Forum is the best around so hopefully I can be understood. I am getting really sick of Ibanez being so inconsistent with their guitars. Every guitar I have bought that is an Ibanez has had something wrong with it. Example time!!
I bought an RG 570 as my second guitar a few years ago. I buy it and see the bridge is put in crooked. So I ask the sales guy and he says that's ok. (I later found out that is not true.) So I believe the guy because I was rather nieve at the time. A while after I bought the guitar problems started arising like lack of tuning stablity, bridge falling back into the body or pulling up way to much, and neck warp. The store sends it back to Ibanez to fix things. About a month or so later it gets back to the store and they say all the problems are fixed! Great! But not quite true, problems arise and it gets sent back about two more times before I decide I should remind them the bridge is crooked. Then they tell me, "Oh that is a problem." But Ibanez never caught that when the were "fixing" my guitar. And trust me if I was able to see that the first time I played this guitar, you would think all these other guitar techs would see the problem too. So they send me a new guitar after about a year of problems and I will admit this one has been fine.
Next example: I bought an RG 3120 new from another store. The bridge on it had horrible tuning stability until I took it to get looked at. THe repair guy fixed most of the problem but it still slips out of tune more than expected. Ok now here is a part that has me confused. I wanted to put new gauge strings on my guitar. 9's with heavy bottoms. I put them on and the bridge is being pulled up as far as it can. So I adjust the springs and the bridge is still pulling up. I adjust it about three turns and the bridge is still being pulled up. So I call a guitar tech and he says that I need more springs for the bridge to handle heavier gauges. Ok I go to put another spring in the body when I see that Ibanez put five claws to hook the springs in but only three holes on the oppisiste side to hook the springs into. So now I will either have to drill or find another way to attach a spring.
So tell me what you think about this and tell me if I am expecting to much or just stupid Either please reply.

no they have more holes, you just can't use the bar that screws on, its not really needed anyway. You put the extra spring(s) into where the screws would screw into.

As far as your other problems... I don't know.

Look I don't know....
Because I had a few Ibanez (S470,RG570,RG550, & now I have S-Custom), & I never had problems with them.

I wonder if your 3120 just had a bad or worn-out set of springs on it. That would explain the tuning problems and difficulty setting the bridge level. There's no way you should need more than three springs for 9's with heavier bottom strings.

Have you tried replacing all of the springs with a brand-new set and see what happens?

I understand your anger over the problems those 2 guitars gave you but out of SIX Ibanez guitars I've ever owned (RoadstarII,EX, RG7620, AX7521,RG7421,RG421) they've all played great and really kept tune really well. This is why I've stayed with Ibanez. Because they have treated me very well and Iam always satisfied.

Try another one...maybe without a damn trem. I hate those things.

Hmm, well I guess I just get unlucky. But things are looking up. My RG 3120 is doing better now. I added an extra spring and that fixed it. But I will see about getting new springs too.

I had the same problem with my RG7420 when I bought it, I wasn't familiar with floating bridges, so it gave me a lot of headaches, until somebody explained me that I had to lower the bridge, so I put a new set of springs on it, I put 4 and I adjusted the tension with a screwdriver and it has worked prefectly since then, the strings rarely go out of tune, I don't know why people complain so much about the Lo Trs, it has worked PERFECTLY for me, and I use the bar a lot!

I encountered that spring problem on a 7620 I set up for a freind. I put the claw as far back as possible without joy with .009's.

New stiff springs fixed it completely and it set up quite nicely after that
