EB/MM JP7 Finally got here PICS

Hey all
I ordered my JP7 back in January and she finally came in.
I haven't had a chance to plug her in yet, but so far everything is great, the action is very very low, the arm contour kicks at least 8 types of ass, the finish and setup are flawless. I may even keep the trem floating, as it doesn't seem like it will be too much of a pain to work with, and you don't have to take the trem arm out of the guitar to put it in the case. The color is Desert Gold. Anyway, here's pics

Nice. That might be my favorite finish on the JPs.

Congrats!

awesome man, y'know when i first saw these EBMM John Petruccis i thought they were ugly (in comparisson to the RG/JPMs) but they have grown on me so much i think theyre the only other 7 string (other than an RG) that i'd buy..

congrats dude

IMO you got the best colour you could get with this guitar. I fell in love with it from the first time I saw. It would be my choice for an EBMM/JPM (I stil like the Ibanez JPM better though).
Great guitar! Congrats!!!

Re: EB/MM JP7 Finally got here PICS

Bad news, sometime between Thursday and Sunday the guitar developed 2 small finish cracks inthe neck pocket. Now I probably have to send her back and wait who knows how long for them to fix it and send it back.

Shame, that is one of the most gorgeous guitars I've ever seen.

Very nice guitar!
Ok, time for a newbie question, that trem is floating right? Is it as much 'pain' as floyd rose?

Yes it's floating, I havent had to restring it yet, but I would imagine it will be alot like a Floyd.

How much different do those necks feel in comparison to a Wizard?
