EBMM Morse models, who has one?

Anyone? I've always wanted one, played maybe a dozen and come close to pulling the trigger a few times, but I'm thinking about getting one again. Silly given I can only play for about 5 minutes at a time these days, but does anyone have one?

Old blue hardtails maybe?

I dig that new purple one, I think it's a new one. I would like to check one of these out as well.

Yeah, the Y2D it's called, for 'year-2 decades' or something. Very nice, but currently a lot more money used than the older "No.1" models. I wouldn't mind playing one though

Ryan (his username is rrhea, he lives near me) I think had one. I can't remember if he sold it or not. He made a post here a long time ago about it.

Edit: Yeah here it is:

Re: EBMM Morse models, who has one?

I had one of the Y2Ds - sweet quilt and floyd. Didn't just find "IT" from it... Sure, smooth player, solid built, quality all the way, but something didn't fall in place. I've got several EBMM guitars - all are fantastic - but this fell into the shade of EBMM EVH. Mine was relatively heavy, but that wasn't the reason either. Maybe the reason was, that I got a guitar with the help of it in a trade that I've been GASsing for quite a while - Tom Anderson Drop Top. BoraBora Blue quilt top goodness...

I went totally off topic, pardon!

But for the buck, my opinion is, that those Morse guitars are worth of every cent and more. And the older blue ones have sooooo many tonal options, that finding a sound that pleases You won't be performed in 5 minutes . If the neck fits, then go for it!

EBMM forums have tons of good info about those guitars and the forumites over there are very helpfull!

I ended up with an old jazz box that just popped up out of nowhere, which is where my head is usually at anyway But a hardtail Morse is definitely on my short list
