Are Edge II, and EDGE III saddles the same?!?

Just curious. I have an Ibanez guitar with the Edge pro II (RGT42) and am curious if the saddles are the same with the newer updated bridge. Im curious if down the road I would have issues perchance a saddle broke. Thanks for any help!

Re: Are Edge II, and EDGE III saddles the same?!?

I don't think they are because the saddles on the Edge Pro II can lock with the string balls still on the string but the Edge III can't. Maybe the Edge Pros would be a better match? I'm not entirely certain as I don't own a guitar with either of these systems.

Re: Are Edge II, and EDGE III saddles the same?!?

much appreciated gents!

One more thing, any foreseeable issue in the next few years in terms of finding a saddle for these?!?

I like in remote Sask Canada, the one time I broke a saddle on an OFR it took me 3 weeks to get one in!

I was gonna start a new thread, but if anyone hear has broken a saddle on their Edge @, please chime in, im curious the extent of the madness
