Edge Pro quandry

Hey all, have an interesting situation with the Edge Pro on my RG2550e. I have not had any issues getting it set up correctly and it stays in tune perfectly as long as I don't use it anywhere other than my home. I have attempted to use it in our worship band on 3 separate occasions and each time it will go out of tune (flat) to the point that I need to tighten the spring claw in order to retune it to concert pitch (I have a Fender strat that's floating and have never had any similar issues with it). When I get it back home, I have to loosen the claw and retune. I live in a fairly moderate climate and the church is only 2 miles from where I live. It's perplexing to have it stay in tune for at least 2 months at home but have it fluctuate so much over a short period of time, usually no more than 2 hours for it to go out of tune. The only variable that I can deduce is the springs. I've blocked the trem and it will stay in tune anywhere I take it so the strings or setup don't seem to be a cause. Any info, advice or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Double check your intonation and trem angle:

It may sound strange, but maybe it's due to tuning to the band members. Maybe they're off a bit, so you have to compensate for them. Or, maybe you're not exactly in tune at home.

Sounds weird, tough.

Temperature. If it's cooler there it will go flat there.

Thanks for your comments.
1. It's not the set up. I used the Prestige manual as well as the website you referenced to double check it.
2. All guitar and bass players use the same tuner, a Peterson Strobostomp, which has been checked with the keyboards we use to make sure we're all in tune. I use the same tuner at home.

That was my original thought but it doesn't affect my Strat nor did it affect either of a couple PRS' I had.

I'd really like to get this figured out. I love the tone and feel of the RG but I just don't have the time between sets to tune it to the extent that it seems to need.

Re: Edge Pro quandry

I think the reason why it doesn't affect those as much is because they are less sensitive trems. You have a lower range of motion for the PRS and Strat trems (i'm guessing they're both 6 screws). I've found that floyds are quite finicky when dealing with temperature changes. More parts = higher chances of something going wrong.

This! if your using AC at one place and not at the other or not as much, it will cause big problems, I have my house temp and Humid controlled, when I go to band practice, I always have issues.
