Well assuming this gitar is the Stephen Carpenter model (I'm a little shaky with my ESP designations) I have to say that I think it's a cracking looking guitar with lots of pearl and chrome and black, very classy.
I've not really been able to fault the high end ESPs I've played as far as fit and finish, and general build quality go for any reason.
The SC works great for what it does and sounds pretty much like you'd expect from a maple through-neck guitar, with alder wings and an ebony board, nice and crisp and bright.
Personally I'm not sure why only the bridge pickup is a "name brand" one, but it still leaves lots of fun in picking out some replacements if the neck and middle ESP own-brand pickups aren't to your taste.
I'm also a little dissapointed as to why it has a 3 way lever switch, but I guess it's what Mr. Carpenter wants so when I'm famous, I'll take it up with him
Feel wise I don't like them
and I hate to have to say that. I don't get on with the body shape being a) so thin and b) having the sharp edge to it. But if I could get over those couple of little things, I wouldn't fault this guitar at all really. Great at what it's intended to do
