ESP LTD M10

I just came across this 150buck ESP,whats the deal with it?
why do I read on "other forums" that its quote "junk and garbage" I cant tell? whats wrong with it? does it have bad quality control?
looks like a pretty good buy to me??????????

Yeah, bad quality control. As well as cheap woods, cheap parts, cheap hardware, cheap pickups, cheap pots, cheap everything. HOWEVER! I think it's decent enough to be a great starter or modding guitar

The M10 is part of a "starter package". It is ESP's lowest level guitar. That said, it has received better independent reviews than any other "starter guitar" from any other company.

You should know that the M10 can be purchased brand new w/gig bag for $149 at all the major box stores.

They're not THAT bad. You can at least get a BIT of tone out of them. They're probably cheap basswood

i have a similar question, would you think the esp ltd standared H-101fm is an upgrade from an RG120? sorry for being a bit offtopic
