Fair Trade??(pics included)

Hi,
I've just traded my 2005 Fender USA Deluxe Stratocaster HSS + £400 for a 2005 ErnieBall Music man Axis Quilted maple AAAA top.
Any opinions on whether Ive done the right thing and it beiing a fair trade?
Cheers.

Re: Fair Trade??(pics included)

Im looking forward to getting the Axis, but part of me is wondering if £400 was a bit too much.
I guess I just need to hear the opinion of others LOL

Re: Fair Trade??(pics included)

I would say it was a good trade. If the Axis is in prime condition then yeah you did well.

The Strat AND 400 pounds seems a bit steep, I guess you wanted the deal more. On the other hand, that EB is F'ing gorgeous!! I probably would've done it too. Sweet axe.

Re: Fair Trade??(pics included)

From a fellow UK'er, I say defenitely good deal. A good Musicman Axis doesnt crop up very often over here - and that one looks awesome! If you ever want another strat, you can always get one. I say a very good deal, I would have done it.

Re: Fair Trade??(pics included)

Cheers guys, the Axis was originally on e~~bay and I was going to trade the strat and £300, but he wanted the auction to run and if it never met what he was after then the Axis was mine, but if I gave him £400 then he would end the auction early.
Ironically he says he will probably sell the Fender to help him get a Jem7vwh.
Thanks again guys
