Is this a FAKE USA Jackson sl1?

Hey guys-

Wanting to buy this one but I've never seen a sl1 in transparent blue color. The owner claimed it's made in 2006.

Is this real or fake?

any information will be appreciated ~~

Looks legit to me, too. I went and, yes--Googled it, and found more in this finish option:

Now here's the problem--there are some pretty accurate fakes out these of these:

That's right dude. I found those fakes as well and it kinda worries me. The dude selling it asks 900 bucks which seems to be a good deal if it's real.

Re: Is this a FAKE USA Jackson sl1?

since the logo on the one your looking at IS MOP I'm sure this is legit. This is also a great color that I've seen a few of. They're much nicer in person. How much is the seller asking for it? That will tell you a lot about its legitimacy too...... If it's $400.... It's a fake. A store close to me is selling the identical model for $1500 and a Guitar Center that's sort of nearby selling the same one for $1600.

It's real, and $900 is a great price if it's in good shape.

Re: Is this a FAKE USA Jackson sl1?

Get the serial number and call Fender/Jackson if you're not 100% sure.

Jackson's web site has serial number info, but it looks like it only goes to 2001? One thing with Jackson is they will do alot of special runs, but it looks legit to me. If it's a clone it's damn good. S/N should be stamped in the fret board at the very end or at what would be the 25th fret.....LOL

That makes sense but the fake ones also seem to have that MOP logo which is confusing me

Which is the same color as the ones we've been posting.

If you were gunna scam someone into buying a fake guitar, you wouldn't use pictures of the fake would you?

Most of the time the pics are real, taken from forums like this.
