Awesome and rare Jerry Cantrell, where did you find that? I WANT!

*And you know that's just the same Charvel you photoshopped different colors. *

Re: A few new ones in the collection...

Are those first 3 MIJ's?

I know the Candy Tangerine is a US but the others are hard to tell.

I have a white US So Cal and a Wildcard #3 in flat black that I just absolutely love.

I'm GASing for a Fiesta Red 1H with Rosewood.

All USA parts except the wine colored body, which is a custom.

None of them are even close to "stock" anymore.

I tweak the crap out of these Charvel promods to make them more like the Charvels of the '80's.

Route the neck pocket to allow the tremolo to sit flush against the body.

Roll the fingerboard edges and oil the neck with Watco danish oil.

Correct deep dish toggle and NOS brass knob

Replace Grovers with Schaller tuners

Replace tremolo with German Floyd (not that there is anything wrong with the Korean unit, but I am already switching from black to chrome)

I make a brass grounding plate just like in the early days as well. I am sure it is not necessary, but a nice touch.

Re: A few new ones in the collection...

Nice! I loke your combo of body colors/hdwr and pickup color selection.

Outside of p/u changes I may also change the easy stuff like MIG Floyd, knobs etc.

I won't be doing any routing anytime soon though.

It's a trem stop for my Dtuna. I ain't skilled enough to handle real power tools.

Re: A few new ones in the collection...

The Charvels have become my "go to" guitars actually. I have sold off almost all of my RGs...

I still have my DBK, and all my PGMs.

Re: A few new ones in the collection...

I thought I had...

That RG was one of the very first Chris Woods/Patrick Sims builds I did (4-5 years ago).

Chris cut the body from Alder, and Sims did the paint. Everything else came from my old 3120.
