Re: A few photos of my guitars

That red one reminds me a lot of the Ibanez AH-10. That's a sweet Charvel though

Re: A few photos of my guitars

Thanks! The black guard, cup and FR have been removed. I replaced the guard with a white one, area 61/67 custom custom. OFR/German in chrome and a chrome cup. Trying to find a pic of it that way. I'll load in a few of blackie as well.

Re: A few photos of my guitars

Why waste the money on an expensive german FR and get an MIJ Gotoh FR for 100 bucks less?

Yeah I decided when I got my Carvin JB200C that if the bridge ever failed on me I'd replace that OFR in there with a Gotoh because Gotoh makes Ibanezes bridges and the Gotoh floyds are probably the best out there (the Gotohs are supposedly just as stable as the original Edge and Lo pro).

My tech, Mike Mascagna, likes Gotoh FR's.

Thank you, it's really a sweet guitar. SanDimas neck. That baby is .720 at the third. Plays effortlessly!!

Re: A few photos of my guitars

That's the thickness of the neck, the back shape. . In decimals. It is pretty thin. I'll have to measure it at the 12th. The White guitar us .780 3rd, and .825 12th.

Doesn't it have a compound radius?

Re: A few photos of my guitars

What I'm referring to is the shape and width of the back of the neck. I like very flat radius necks.

Take a set of calipers, loosen your strings. Go to the third fret and put the caliper right against the fret. Then open up the caliper so it reaches the center of the neck. That will determine the width of the neck.

Re: A few photos of my guitars

I'm ok with compound radius necks. I prefer straight 20". Very flat. You can bury the action.
