Few questions about the RG7EX

Actually 2 questions,

A. Will this guitar be available in the US?
B. Does anyone know when they will be available?

Re: Few questions about the RG7EX

No offense, but why would you want one?

The RG7EX is cheaper than the 1527, it doesn't have the prestige specs and it has original EMG pickups, it means that it is not a very good guitar.
Get yourself a used 7620 or 7621 instead, and put EMG's in that one, then you'll have a MUCH better guitar.

believe me

Re: Few questions about the RG7EX

If you really wanted one, you could buy one from Japan but you'd have to pay the shipping and customs duties and would probably be better off doing as tony777 recommended.

I didn't know it was cheaper than the 1527. Wow. Still, a nice guitar though....

Re: Few questions about the RG7EX

I'm not too sure if Ibanez will bring the RG6 and RG7ex models to the US. It's a stupid move for them not too, but hey, it's not my call. Who knows, maybe you'll find one floating on that auction site, but getting a used RG7621 or RG7421 and tossing EMGS in it will get you a much better guitar.
