Finished my 7620

Hey dudes, well I repainted the 7620, I wanted a more retro kinda thing going down, I think it came out quite well. I had a few problems I.E One of the floyd screws broke, and a big thanks to Donnie who sent em to me free of charge, thanks man!

I also got an original floyd rose for my 470, so there's a pic of that

Now pics:

Here are two pics of the body and headstock:

This is the guitar without the pickguard etc and wasn't even put together:

And the final product \m/ Emg 707 sounds massive

And the 470

Well, there it is

She looks great, congrats! You've got some nice figure in the fretboard as well, which is always nice.

Re: Finished my 7620

Awsome job! Did you strip the paint before applying the new coat? Also, what kind of paint did you use? I'm looking forward to painting my 7620 Artic White and sticking an EMG707 into it.

Re: Finished my 7620

I sanded it all off, took like 3-5 hours to get it nice. Make sure you don't sand through the wood filler, but if so, a few coats of primer won't hurt. I used 3 cans of spray paint right off the shelve, all you need, one thing I can say is that you need to spray hard enough for the paint to co-a-lis (I don't know how to spell it muhaha) and if dust or something gets in it, get some very light sand paper and dip it in water and sand it away, smooths everything out.

Good luck dude

And thanks for all the comments
