First NGD on Jemsite...

It's here! It's here! My new guitar has finally arrived and she is beautiful. Kramer Striker S424 is the term for her right now but once I'm done she'll be anything but stock.

And as the rule goes "thread is useless without pics" here you go :

Notice how the headstock says "USED", well that's complete bull****, it's mint. The strings need to be changed but that's it.

I love this baby.

Its certainly used now that some idiot stamped that into the headstock...

That said, are those multibuckers, or something wierd Kramer cooked up?

Re: First NGD on Jemsite...

No, they're Kramers "quadrail" humbuckers that are just traditional humbuckers with the four instead of just two rails

Re: First NGD on Jemsite...

Kramer was very much influenced by what Grover Jackson was doing which is why they're so similiar. I wanna say that Jackson bought out Kramer but they didn't, they were just very similiar.

Re: First NGD on Jemsite...

I plan on stripping the paint and completely redoing it, and the pups will be :

'59 - Neck
Hot Rails - SC
Invader - Bridge

Re: First NGD on Jemsite...

Musicyo eh? Those Quad Rails are actually some of the better stock pups I've heard out there, nice and thick sounding.

How old is it? I'm interested in buying another Musicyo Kramer, but the last one I saw posted up had some pretty ****ty build flaws. I bought my Vanguard back in 2000 and it was FLAWLESS, still use it to this day.

Not sure exactly how old it is but I'm assuming mid or late 90's
