First post-Need help re Roadstar 2.

Hi there.

This is my very first post, regarding my very first Ibanez.

I have been playing for nearly twenty years, and recently i purchased my first ibanez (which im awaiting delivery on), a 1985 single humbucker RS-110, Roadstar 2.

It has a Power rocker bridge, however no trem arm.
I tried to search for info on this site, however didnt find what i was after.

Do i need to get a specific trem arm for this or can i substitute it with another type?

I contacted Mr Ibanez, who has none and found one on ebay that was very expensive.

Just wanting to know if substitutes can be used and to say hi.

Cheers.

Replacements, and substitutes are going to be pretty thin on the ground. Parts for these old bridges are like hen's teeth, which is rather unfortunate. It would be great if someone made parts, but I don't think there's enough interest to make it a worthwhile investment.

Cheers mate.

So im best off just paying the high price to get the right part then i suppose.

I almost didnt buy this guitar due to the fear of a lack of replacements etc, so its quite a gamble.

I may even just block it off.

Looks like you might be able to put a regular Edge Trem Arm in it
