:rotf:

For $2500 that thing had better have a neck that matches, AND cook and clean.

I especially like the detailed description of the volume knob:

"The volume knob is round, plastic and smaller than Vai's"

I've never really been that keen on these kinds of "sculpted" guitars although I always thought the swiss cheese guitar that Ron Thal played was too cool. 2,500 though? He's having a laugh mate!!

Ok, I'm sure this guitar is well made and everything but asking $2,289.99 is just ridiculous!

I know what you mean!! The body looks like a piece could break off if you aren't super cafefull with it. WAY TOO MUCH FOR IT......I think I'll email him a $400 offer.

he goes on about the three positions for the strap as opposed to two on the obviously inferior steve vai original.

durrhhhhh why do you think they got rid of the one on the top horn??? thin sliver of wood???? guitar a bit heavy??? hummmph what a tool.

its a shame, its obviously a good guitar (if you like it) and he's put a lot of work into it, but just a joke to ask so much.

Well, if it's a custom job, it's probably cut down from an existing body, in which case you're paying more for less wood. *I would just buy something cheap and hack it up if I wanted to.

And hopefully he got the scale length all calculated correctly because if this is a copy of an original body, It was originally designed to be 24 frets not 22 LOL

Oh well, I'm sure he's not a complete sod.

its kinda cool look'n, but i would never play it. *looks way to fragile, and i can't play a guitar that can't handle alot of wear and tear... *8-)

When I checked, the Buy It Now was set at $1,780. *Maybe if he was Joe Despagni I would pay that much. *I agree with you guys. *$400 tops. *$500 if it had a neck other than a BC Rich. *I have never liked the headstock or the feel of them.
