Found a 1570

I found a 1570 in a store for $500 US, and it comes with a hardshell case and the bridge has a Steve's Special. No dents no blems, it appears to be mint, the only thing i need on it is more Springs for the tremolo, it has a lo pro tremolo. Should i buy it? Because I'm Interested with a RG2550 or a RG1527. But the 1570 looks like a good deal. Should I let them hold it for me, and go to Guitar Center and see what they offer?

That's a good price for a mint 1570. If it plays well and it's what you want, go for it.

Guitar Center will NOT offer you less than $500 for one...guaranteed.

Play it, if you like it, buy it.

Re: Found a 1570

I looked at the price wrong its 600. I replayed it again, and it didnt have enough bass from the heavy strings. I'm not sure if its the Steve's Special or the Strings or Both? It's an 06, i need your suggestions. Suggest anything, even a different Guitar.

Re: Found a 1570

$600 is a bit much if you ask me for a 1570 used. I bought a new 2550 from GC for $700 out the door new, so you could save a few bucks up and go that route.

Like he won't sell any guitars as he won't respond to emails?

That's odd...he has some crazy good prices...

I haven't heard from him, and i was hoping he'd get around to posting more info, but Eric had some health issues to deal with so if you don't hear back from him he is probably preoccupied. I can't provide any further details... glen
