Frankenstein Ibanez - Original Wizard Neck
I'm trying to find the value of my Ibanez. I acquired it from a friend who himself doesnt know what value this has, but we've both done our research and found the neck is a '93 original wizard (made in Fujigen factory in Japan) (based on serial number).
However, after extensively researching the Ibanez catalogs (1990-2000), there is no guitar with an original wizard neck, and a body that has the black pearl paintjob (something not offered prior to '94), and IBZ pickups. It also has golden hardware (golden tuners, golden nut saddle, golden strap lock, and golden Ibanez TRS bridge - my friend also added golden knobs).
It has a HSH config, 5 way pickup switch, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, dotted inlays.
Now I forget which models I had narrowed down to for the body and pickups (I think '95 550 or 450 RG, don't remember).
Maybe this was some sort of custom shop experiment, I dunno.
I'd just like you fine folks' opinion on how valuable this is (I don't intend to sell it anytime soon, but maybe sometime in future), if at all.
I understand the original Wizard neck is considered rare, but is it also considered valuable?
I'll upload pics as soon as I can.
