Fretboard Cleaning

hello guys
i got an Ibanez Rg prestige with tree of inlay.
this guitar means just about everything for me, so i tend to be over cautious with it.
i usually use a dunlop prep 01 to clean the fretboard on my other guitars, and also sometimes put lemon oil on the wood.
my question here is realy, if i could safely apply these materials to my guitars neck without damaging the inlay. that dunlop prep smells like dense cogniac haha
also, any other things i should be cautious too?

thanks alot in advance.

hey, what guitar did you get? I'm guessing a RG2820???

Anyway..it also depends on the type of wood - ebony or rosewood, lemon oil is good, but only small amounts.

But damaging the inlay..I doubt it..
