Question Frets of this 2004 J. Custom: are they new?

I'm about to buy an used J. Custom RG 8670. Year 2004. I can't see it in person, because the guy lives 3800 km away from me, so I'm just seeing photos. The guitar looks very good, maybe too good to be true.

I asked him about the frets, and he said the frets are "like new". Is there a chance that this guitar never had a fretjob? Maybe the frets have been swapped? It's a 15 years old guitar, after all. Picture is below.

Plenty of people don't play their more expensive guitars for fear of damaging them! Looks good to me.

No wear or anything on the fretboard too! That baby didn't get a lot of playtime...

I purchased a 2001 RG-520 with OHSC & its original tool kit & paperwork, including store tags & Ibanez inspection tag. Apparently sat in the case all these years. It happens. I also purchased a Roadstar 2 that looks like it went through 30 years of world tours. I did a refretting on that one. They both play great. A good design is a good design no matter what the age.

Just looks like a guitar that hasn't been played much to me. Fingerboard and frets appear to get in great condition in that pic.
