FT - RG3120F Dam

Hey Guys,

I am considering a trade as I am moving in to 7 string territory. I am looking to trade a MINT 2005 RG3120F Dam with DeActivators. Only reason why I am looking to trade this piece is it is my best chance to trade for the following:
  • RG7CT
  • RG7CST
  • RG2127x
  • RG2027x
  • RG8527
  • K7
I am entertaining all offers for a Prestige 7 above an RG1527. I have owned several 7620 and I do know how good these are but I am looking preferable for piezo and a flame top. I am also looking for a piece in very good if not mint condition. No rust, no chips at all on the face or sides(minor scuffs on the back are fine) and all electronics working well. Clean frets a plus.

Any suggestion is welcome. I know some of the pieces I listed above are worth more than mine (to some) but if your looking at trading for a 6 string the trade could be apples for apples......

This 3120F just had a fret level and full clean. The action on the treble side is 1/32 with no buzz anywhere and the bass side is 2/32 with no buzz at all. Strung with 9-42. The edge pro is in mint conidition as well. As you can see in the pics below it really is in mint condition.

please no negative comments....thanks guys.

lol.......I hear you man....but the reason why I am asking for flame tops and piezos is that I want the closest thing in a 7 string to what I have now.....for some reason 7 string necks feel so good and I miss them.

I have owned 4 7620's in my time and I always regretted getting rid of those.....

Again, the nice thing is I can be selective on this. There may be a big chance the right deal doesnt come, however I know there is someone out there that either has too many 7 strings or wants to transition out of them.....if the right deal comes my way then I will have options.....

How are the repairs on your RGT3120 going btw?

I get it....... and in reality, the RG7CT and CST are incredible guitars.....I'd trade for one of those myself.

As far as my RGT?.....you wont recognize it!! NGD to come in a few weeks!!! I can promise you that it's WAY better than it was from the factory....LOL

You don't have to move this thread....this is a good place to discuss it without having trouble. Open a new thread in the classifieds to actually do the deal.

That's a beautiful guitar man....You'll probably end up finding a 2027 before any of the others in the event you are looking for a straight up trade. CST is highly doubtful, CT very close to that. What do you imagine is the trade value of yours?

I would imagine 1K trade value as the frets are perfect and just leveled, no dings in the finish at all, neck is perect and straight, DeActivator upgrade etc........

Does that make sense?

Re: FT - RG3120F Dam

Just so you know though, at the top end of that list, a CST will fetch at least 3K. The CT and 2027/2127 will be around the same coin at just under 2k. K7's will probably be the most common for the lesser amount. Assuming you're looking for something in pretty good condition.
That's my take on it. And from my own experiences with trying to locate some of the more rare of these guitars you're looking for I'll just say, hope you have a lot of patients.

I have 4 kids, 16 and 13 year old girls and 6 and 11 year old boys. I have nothing but patience. And time. And gray hair. And no privacy. And the fetal position at midnight wondering where it all went. And not enough Calgone to take me away............

Well, I've got three girls 19, 15, and 8. Three of a kind beats pairs! And I was lucky enough to score both a CST and a CT with the patients I gained from those three....Good luck!
