Try this link, it should go right to the guitar.

RG4020QMBS

The trem looks kind of funny, I would almost venture to guess that it is a Double Edge, and maybe the third control is a blend between the magnetic and piezos?

Here are some more cool ones on that site:

RG550 EX Galaxy Black

RG550 EX Silver Sand (w/matching headstock!)

There is also a RG double neck (7/6) but no pics.

Sorry about the link - I thought it worked. :loco:

Yes, there are loads of guitars over there that I've never seen (American-wise) before. Those your mentioned, Kirk, are some of them. The RG550EX Silver Sand looks very nice in person.

If my math is correct, the list price on the RG4020 is about $1200 USD. *Good street price is roughly $700. *That's great if it is equipped with a Double Edge. *

Although, looking at the pic again, that top "knob" may actually be a three way switch like the JPM. *

The headstock looks like a Prestige headstock, so if that is a three way and it doesn't have the Double Edge, the price is still pretty decent.

I don't know how to translate German, but there doesn't even appear to be a description of the guitar other than the finish, wood and hardware. *

actually no links from that site work for me. for some reason my isp doesn't let me connect to that site, not even the homepage. so if someone can post those pics or send me pics of any non-american distributed guitars listed there. i would apprectiate it. [email protected]

That 3rd "knob" has to be a JPM 3-way switch -- notice how all the controls are way out to the edge of the body...

Hmm... there are some interesting guitars on this website - mistake showing it to Kirk, but hey.

It's a shame there aren't pictures of all of them (that double neck RG would get juices flowing, I'm sure...), but it's where I go every so often to upset myself. Mmm, until they sold the S-540Japan they had on there... NOOO!!!!!! I was saving for that one, too. Selling for around $1200 or so. :angryfire:

It's a JPM-type switch. Click Here for another example of a configuration like the 4020.

I'll bet ya $20 that "double neck RG" is actually the STW (S-series, TWin neck). *Which is a misnomer; the necks are 7-string and 6-string. LOL

I was lookin' at the S540-Japan too. :-)

Well, hey - just because they don't have it in America... yaddah yaddah yaddah.

Do S540-Japans pop up anywhere at all? I'll be there sniping on Kevan! :rotf:
