G&L Custom Project - Tone Machine!!

Check out my G&L custom project - stock Legacy with a large MFD in the bridge and neck and a Z-Coil in the middle (had to use corrugated for the initial pickguard until I can get one cut).

I'll have to post some mp3's as you have to hear this guitar!

Cool concept on the pup config. You better watch it, you may start a new trnd in pickguards.

That's just it - they were the guitars Leo Fender designed and built after he sold Fender - Strat and Tele designs improved by Leo himself.

With any luck, I'll record and post some mp3s this week sometime.

Just wish G&L would build a 7 string or at least some large Magnetic Field Design (MFD) pups for a 7 string.

OK here's an mp3 of this guitar through my POD Pro (and a little Dunlop Rotovibe) - the guitar rocks, too bad I suck...

I meant Fender the company, not Leo. G&L stands for George and Leo, doesn't it?

Good looking axe Randy. The corrugated pickguard is definitely a nice touch, Leo would be proud.

I tried to listen to your clip but my speakers at work are just horrifyingly bad...I'll get on it when I get home. Sounds tasty though. Which models were you using?

I used the plain old Tube Preamp for the really clean stuff. The rest was the Brit Classic - the really driven lead part was aided with a little tube screamer model from the Boss GT-6.
