Re: GG Swirl #8

Other than the area under the tone knob, it looks VERY cool....sort of a mix between 70's tye-dye and a water color painting. I REALLY LIKE IT!! Love the color choices too!!

The area under the tone knob looks like a drip that was wiped off...... It doesn't match the rest of the guitar, but in no way detracts from the whole thing.

It doesn't look very swirly which is not necessarily a bad thing. Reminds me of the 70's for some reason.

Your not the only one, I don't like it. Swirls have to be exceptional to look good and this ain't it.

Re: GG Swirl #8

does, kind of look like a bowling bowl, or a super bouncy ball. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea, and it does have the whole 70's vibe going on with the colors, but I don't like the application. If they were just painted on with a pattern of some sort maybe I'd like it but it just doesn't do it form me.

For comparison ...

Re: GG Swirl #8

It's ugly but, Ugly cool...If you added the right pickup mounting ring color, pickup color, and hardware color it could look very unqiue, abstract...

Re: GG Swirl #8

I feel like you're using way too much paint of something. You can see it built up in spots all over the guitar.

It's really not built up all over the guitar. Maybe one spot.
