There's quite a few things that will factor into the price, obviously. It would need to be mint, and not refined for top dollar, and probably a block neck as well. You'd need pics of the date codes on the pots and descriptions and pics of the pickups, etc. If he wants a really thorough evalutaion of the instruments worth, he should ship it to George Gruhn for a professional evaluation and appraisal. Maybe let George sell it for him on consignment as well. And insure it for as much as possible ASAP!
