Got a Jackson concept :)

with a cool custom paintjob

its a JDR 94, and its definetly a player, has some dings and whatnot, and the previous owner overtightened the nut (ill ask about that in the tech section) but i didnt mind cause i got it fairly cheap, and i needed a player anyway (im kinda afraid of taking my JPM out of the house )

its japanese, it has a Jackson floyd copy (are those any good?) and it has a Tone Zone in the bridge

edit: copy/paste the link in your browser, stupid geocities doesnt allow linking...

I've heard bad reviews of those Jackson trems (basically saying they're like the Ibanez TRS types).

I'd need a better photo to be sure, but i think that's one of the Jackson trems made by Schaller. It's identical to the Schaller/Floyd Rose II trem, except it has "Jackson" stamped into the oval shape on the bass side of the base plate.

Yeah, as always Darren is spot on - Jackson JT500 which is effectively made for Jackson Schaller FRII.
By the way Jackson still ofer that paint job on DK and SL guitars.

Sorry for the delay people, heres a better pic of the trem...

http://www.geocities.com/marianozz15/trem.JPG (right-click / save as...)

by the way, upon taking it apart i discovered it has all 5 springs ... is that necessary or can i put only 3 in (like on Ibanezs) when i put it back together?

and heres a better pic of the thing... just before i took it apart for cleaning it

oh, and the paintjob is custom... found a sticker inside the control cavity, it was done in '99... and its kinda shoddy (as you can see in the trem cavity) to be standard... but it still looks quite cool

Depends on the stiffness eh? And the measures of the trem...
