Gotta love those pawn shops!! NGD RG 7620

Passed by a pawn shop a few days ago and saw a black 7620 with original case for $299. The guitar is in great condition for a '97 with only a few chips on the paint. I went to buy it today and got it for $225 out the door. I think I did pretty good. What do you think?

What kind of pawn shops do you have in your area, all I find at the pawn stores are cheap no name guitars.

Same here my friend. Give those no names a shot though. Because you never know when that cheapo with the crappy strat-style trem might actually be a beat to hell custom with a nice wilkinson on it.

Dude if you see a good Warwick or Ibby 5-string bass, with active electronics, let me know. Living my auction/pawnshop life through you guys seems a better idea.

Your Mojo is expressed through the guitar, The guitar may show signs of past Mojo, but none of it will be bad brother.....
Pawn shop guitars.

Plus many other brands I dont even have any more!
Pawn shops are the Ultimate place to get guitars.

Re: Gotta love those pawn shops!! NGD RG 7620

I think he means because of WHY the guitars are in a pawn shop. No one says "hmm. . . I think I'll give this guitar away for a horrible price today!" and takes it to a pawn shop. They only do if they desperately need money and had to give away something that they loved to get it. Some see it as bad karma. I don't but I completely get how they feel.

I suspect a lot of them may be "borrowed"

That as well. You never know if you're getting something stolen, broken, ripped from the hands of the dead, etc.

Well THAT's a seriously depressing thought!

But it might add some MOJO to playing in Minor keys...
