GrassRoots Explorer

Any idea what price one of these would fetch in used condition?

Re: GrassRoots Explorer

If I recall correctly, pretty much everything under the GrassRoots name sells for less than $400-$500 new, so a used one would fetch about $200-$300(if not less)

Re: GrassRoots Explorer

shame.. i saw one listed on the 'bay in the uk for £600 lol

i got a used on with bits missing for £50, needed a stop tail, nut and knobs and pups. bought the misc bits for £28, just need pups now.

probably wont invest in the real deal EMGs based on this valuation.

Re: GrassRoots Explorer

Isn't GrassRoots the Squire version of the ESP brand?

http://www.espguitars.co.jp/grassroots/index.html

Check the prices... and while you're at it click on the ESP bit and check their guitars.
I'm going to have to find a shop (like ishibashi but with a better english web page and stocking ESP) and order something pretty.

Re: GrassRoots Explorer

Grassroots is the "Squire" version of ESP. Rather it's Japan's replacement for the LTD line. Some of thier stuff is pretty decent actually, heck you could even get yourself a scalloped fretboard strat for something like $300 (if not less)
