Talking Greatest Guitar... EVER!

I've officially found my new, all time favorite guitar. I've seriously never played a guitar that felt better than the Iceman. Ever. From now on, I'll be playing IC-400's almost exclusively!

On a side note; I'm pissed at Ernie Ball! I got a pack of Slinkies with my new Iceman, took the old strings off, put the new ones on, but when I got to the low E string, it was missing! WTF?

Anyways, I'm still psyched.

That's cool. I love the look of Iceman guitars.

I think it's one of them love-em-or-hate-em things though.

I love Iceman. It's one of the few "weirdo" shapes I actually dig. Good score.

I was all set to buy one when my wife pointed out the phallic lower horn.

Re: Greatest Guitar... EVER!

The upper horns on some Warwick basses are hilarious...blatantly phallic! Iceman models rule though.

Re: Greatest Guitar... EVER!

i got the iceman bug the other day and somehow couldn't find a japanese ic-400... unless if it was a PS-10 or that gawky J.Yeunger model... wouldn't mind finding an 80's IC but yours look pristine though... time to add pink pickups hah!

That's happened to me, but with one of the higher strings. I'm guessing one of the store employees needed it more than I did I still have that set kicking around...

I know you just didn't say the ICJ100WZ was gawky! :O

I think it's bitchin'.

Anyways, I have to confess; I only paid $275 for my Iceman. It had been knocked off of a stand at Guitar Center, and has a fairly large chunk taken out of the back. But it doesn't touch the binding, and you can't even see it from the front or sides, so it's all good.

I'm a tad disappointed with the stock pickups, too. They're pretty muddy with any kind of gain, but those can be replaced easily, so no biggie.
