Greetings from IKEA-land!

Hey, my name's Johan, I'm 18 and I live in Sweden.

Here's my tiny family;

LTD MH-250NT

Jackson KV2 in Ambersunburst (might sell this to the local musicstore to pay for an Ibanez RG Prestige)

I also have an Ibanez V70 Acoustic, but she's camerashy. ^^

Re: Greetings from IKEA-land!

I know this is a wierd question, but what are the KV2 necks like? I played a cheap jackson kelly and thought the neck was horrible because it was just TOO thin, but I've also played a mid range DK and that neck was actually pretty nice...

Re: Greetings from IKEA-land!

For a second I thought this thread was going to be about guitars you put together yourself.

Welcome! I'd keep that Jackson if I were you. It's a beauty.

The KV2 has the so-called "speed neck", which is apparently the thinnest neck Jackson offers (and the reason I am selling it. )

Re: Greetings from IKEA-land!

If the KV2 neck is anything like my standard King V, I love how thin it is. Its what I consider to be just the right size, in that it's still strong and doesn't feel uncomfortable after a long time of playing.

Toyota's, Corvette's, dogs, cats, monkeys, small children, guinea pigs and flying spoons. Poor guitar, she's just a baby.

I'd never be able to do that, I never was any good at anything practical. ^^ I respect those who manage to do it. ^^ I'd love to be able to do it, even if I can't.

Haha, thanks man. Ikea ftw. ^^

Re: Greetings from IKEA-land!

ikea.....the bain of my life. Why is it i get to go to ikea for "something to do".How is it when i dont follow those stupid feet stickers on the floor when i walk around, i get lost? why do i only get offered cheap hotdogs at the end? Why do i feel guilty when i keep filling my cup back up with coffee, and why are the cups so small. Why are the plate racks flimsily built? Why am i forced to go in the first place? Why do women insist on buying the crapest items in there? Why in a place thats allegedly full of innovation do i see similar stuff in argos cheaper? Why don't they play black metal in there? Why do never see the naked bloke off the adverts? etc...etc...

That said..... Hi dude, at least i can see you've not shopped in ikea for those!

Re: Greetings from IKEA-land!

Ikea has great cinnamon muffins. I always get a box if we go there, and then the kids eat them all before I get one.

Re: Greetings from IKEA-land!

It's a little disturbing that you'd want to see the naked bloke

There must be something else to stir your coffee with
