Re: Guitar Guru Swirl #3

Looks really good! You know what might also look cool & different on this color! The blue makes me think of water - you could do the "Water Drop" effect on it...if your not sure what that is, I can tell you how to do it. It's so easy, and really makes it look like there are water drops on it.

Just thought it might be neat since these things are literally dipped into water, the color blue looks tasty, etc.

Just a thought to be different yet cool! It's such an easy effect, yet people look at it and think "WOW!"

Yup. I know. I'm working on it. But when it goes together, it looks good.

Red face Re: Guitar Guru Swirl #3

Again, I'm not too much of a swirl guy...But that is sweet! I don't think the front is inferior to the back either, by the way...I quite like the front!

Re: Guitar Guru Swirl #3

Wow your swirls are getting better and better. I would have liked to see a little more swirl on the front especially in the middle, but I think once it is assembled it will look great. Makes me think of a sapphire, just that blue I guess. Awesome work

Re: Guitar Guru Swirl #3

Are you using cinduit and pounding it into a square for your mount? I use 3/4" conduit pounded flat, and then it slides over a 1/2" piece so I can spin it around while clearing and such. I like the sqaure look better - looks like it would be better - if that's what you are doing??

White pickups would look great in that, Rick.

I don't know what it is about swirls that so many seem nicer on the back, but I like this one better than the last one
