Guitar sugestions

I'm looking at the RG370DXZ or RG870Z if I can spring for the money. I don't want to buy on forums, I have my reasons and rather not talk about it.

Should I wait for NAMM 2012? Kinda tired of seeing black and cut myself emo black. I also have a quilted guitar want something new.

Re: Guitar sugestions

I'd wait and see what comes out. I know that they have bright ass pink and yellow premiums on the way.

Worst comes to worst, Mod the hell out of a 570 or something. As I'm sure you know, it's the Jemsite way!

Those prems are prob going to be jacked up over 1k. The question is when will they be released to retailers. I hope to god there aren't 5 differnt shades of black.

Re: Guitar sugestions

Honestly, I'd just upgrade an RG350 (on RG370. Depends on if you want a pickguard). Same hardware and tone wood. Everything else can be upgraded to premium or more (pickups, frets, etc) and you'll probably still be paying less.

Really? I thought you said price increases across the board? The premiums are already at $900

Or are you specifically talking about the new neons?

Re: Guitar sugestions

Personally, I'd wait for a nice RG760 at a decent price to pop up on eBay. You can find really nice ones for under $500 if you're patient.

Re: Guitar sugestions

I'll add, from what I've seen, all the Premium stuff looks pretty nice. With that, you wouldn't have to worry about any issues with an old guitar, plus you could get it fully set up out of the gate.

@ that price, I'd be all over a premium if I were you Sho. Although I'd also be waiting to see everything that comes out at Namm first.
