Happy New Incoming Guitar Day!!!

Someone posted this on sevenstring.com.... I've been on a huge Ibanez kick lately so this one will fit in nicely.

I called up *************** and asked for a discount... after the 3rd call, I got 12% off!!!!

I get her next week!!!!

The Ibanez Limited Edition RG721 solidbody electric guitar is purpose-built for high-speed, low-drag shredding! It all starts with the RG body style, which is primed for players with attitude. The RG721 also gives you a fast-playing 5-piece maple/walnut Wizard Premium neck and a resonant, well-balanced basswood body - and it's topped by a drop-dead-gorgeous rosewood cap. And this limited edition RG sports a Tight End fixed bridge, so you have the stability and reliability of a fixed bridge guitar combined with the raw shredding power of the RG. Get your hands on an Ibanez Limited Edition RG721, and hold on!

Ibanez Limited Edition RG721 Solidbody Electric Guitar at a Glance:

Plays fast, with a wide tonal range
RG playability, with fixed-bridge stability
Gorgeous limited-edition looks

Plays fast, with a wide tonal range
The Ibanez RG721 is built for maximum speed and tonal range, and you'll love how it performs. The basswood body and five-piece maple/walnut Wizard Premium neck give you sustain that won't quit, with a lively response and excellent note-to-note definition. And the Wizard Premium neck plays incredibly fast, perfect for frantic fretwork.

RG playability, with fixed-bridge stability
While you may expect to see a tremolo on an Ibanez RG, the Limited Edition RG721 sports a Tight End fixed bridge - a dream come true if you prefer a hardtail bridge. The Tight End bridge has an ultra-low profile to give you the comfort of a traditional RG floating trem, with the exceptional stability and reliability you can only get from a fixed bridge. If you've always wanted an RG, but prefer not to mess with a floating tremolo system, the Limited Edition RG721 was made just for you.

Gorgeous limited-edition looks
For this special edition of the iconic RG, Ibanez topped the basswood body with a stunning rosewood top. Alluring body binding completes the elegant look. It's a stark contrast to the typical RG look, but the classy appearance and effortless playability of the Limited Edition RG721 means it's just as suitable for a jazz gig as it is for a metal thrash-fest.

Ibanez RG920 Solidbody Electric Guitar Features:

Limited edition of one of the fastest and most versatile electric guitars ever made
Basswood body, with a limited edition rosewood cap for an undeniably appealing look
Sports the 5-pc maple/walnut Wizard Premium neck, one of the fastest-playing necks you can buy
Tight End fixed bridge gives you the low-profile comfort of a standard Ibanez trem, with the stability and reliability of a fixed bridge
Body binding adds a touch of class to the already-special limited edition look
CAP-VM humbucking pickups have a wide tonal range, with exceptional dynamic response
Gig bag included

Looks awesome! I would replace the pickups with with creme colored ones to match the binding around the body and neck.

That is all kinds of sharp. I was thinking my next buy would be a hardtail RG and was on the lookout for a cheap RGA121 NTF but his has got me reconsidering. Love the binding!

Re: Happy New Incoming Guitar Day!!!

This is the one that had a funky looking fingerboard. We had a thread already about the 721 premium going and I brought it up. So that gent already sold this thing? Glad you got a decent discount on it as its still probably able to pass for NIB basically. The more I look at that board its starting to grow on me. Definately unique looking. I'm a maple fingerboard guy at heart but all that rosewood including the body is definately nice looking together along with the binding.

Glad you like it. Definately better than another boring black on black Ibanez.

Playability report when you get it please.

Let us know how you like that bridge. I've never seen one with that bridge in real life.

Classiest Ibanez I've seen in a long time!
Please do a review of it--and make sure to give a thorough opinion of that bridge!

Re: Happy New Incoming Guitar Day!!!

I want a guitar with that bridge. The saddles look like they go so far back. I can tune as low as I want and still intonate!

I also want that guitar in general. But I can't have one. Because this is America
