Actually I won't be reviewing one after all, or any other Ibanez guitars by the looks of it.

Had a bit of a tinker at NAMM. The increased scale length is enough to make the notes sound a bit tougher but not enough to feel strange if you're not used to extended scales. Upper fret access kicks ass due to the little cutaway on the back of the treble side. It's very comfortable in general.

Jon, why won't you be reviewing Ibanez guitars anymore?

Didn't get to plug it in, unfortunately. I'll let you know if I get my hands on one.

Re: Has anyone played the 2010 RGD's?

I was able to try and play the RGD 2120Z in a shop a few weeks ago. I found the texture of the finish rather annoying. Apart from that, the RGD models I tried were quite comfortable.

It's very small, may feel a bit strange at first, but very easy to get used to.
