Have been playing Gibson,Not picked an Ibanez for awhile

Hi dudes,ooops,And dudette's :-)

Just recently i have re-finished 3 of my 4 Ibanez guitars, the UV being the only one standard, but,In there place i have been picking with my Gibson LP,i know i wanted to trade her awhile back but i borrowed a PRS and it was poo in comparison so decided to keep my baby :-)

The long of it is,I'm currently thinking of selling all my projects, necks bodys etc to fund a new LP standard i have found hidden away in a local store ,She plays as well as my current one but sounds Soooo differant, not better,Just differant

Mine sounds "rock" this one i have played sounds "santana - Samba pa-ti"

If that makes any sense,Smooth and soulful :-)

Ive played a couple of les-pauls and they were great - massive tone. I dont think I would ever own one though (unless I had the money to spare, which I doubt would happen). There just not my kinda guitar at the moment; floyds and fast necks are presently my thing.
If you like it, buy it! Hell, if you realise you made a mistake you can always sell it again

Hey Rob,
I know where your coming from, you cant beat a good old Les Paul. Especially like you say when you find a good one. I know people that are killing themselves for not buying Les Pauls somewhere down the line!
If you find a good one, it usually means something!

But its up to you dude. Sometimes your tastes change and you move one. Look at Vaijem, he sold all his Ibanez! Maybe its your age Rob! lol
Maybe your growing out of fast licks, floyds and pointy headstocks. Maybe your going all bluesy and "Santana" on us, lol

But jokes aside, like Andy said, if you do make a wrong choice you could always sell it. But from the sounds of it you wouldnt be making a wrong choice, it sounds sweet. If you do decide to go with it - you should have o problem selling or re-selling things if you wish to.

Lp's are fat, full of sustain and very toneful but they lack when it comes to playing comfort.
