Have an old Ibanez ProLine V (Rhodes style) laying around...

Looking for parts for this thing? Does anyone know if anybody makes repro parts that would fit one of these? Been told the control plate and cavity plates mostly were one off for these guitars specifically... Would really love to put this guitar back together.

Re: Have an old Ibanez ProLine V (Rhodes style) laying around...

Have you searched for them online? I have seen ibanez Proline v parts on the *bay site every now and them.
This past Monday i found a ibanez proline v 1660 at a pawn shop. it was in mint condition only $425.00. I should have grabbed it. now i regret it. good luck on those parts.

Mr. Ibanez (Orval Engling; http://www.mr-ibanez.com) is one guy who stocks lots of old/hard to find bits. I got some Pro Rock'r pieces from him that saved me and the guitar I was working on.

This person might be worth contacting too: http://www.reproguitarparts.com/.

Re: Have an old Ibanez ProLine V (Rhodes style) laying around...

Thanks guys. One of the toughest things is the bridge... I am not sure what kind of bridge was originally in it. Between moving back and fourth from FL to MA twice and other places in between, I lost a box full of parts for the guitar. I have an RG550 project I have been working on too but that bridge does not seem to fit.

Appreciate the links... I'll definitely keep scouring those pages and evilbay for parts. If anyone has any other links please post up!

It'll be a Pro Rock'r. I think the PR1660 only came with black ones, if you're pedantic about that kind of stuff. There's a chrome one on eBay now but it's $300, looks practically NOS though (has a non original arm/arm socket by the looks of it).

The Hard Rocker also fits, but doesn't quite cover the rear of the route.
