Question Help with Ibanez RGD73210Z matte finish!

hey guys! i'm new here.some guys i know had a lot of problems with the matte flat black finish on the RGD7321,RGD7320Z and other matte finished ibbys.the finish is damaged with could i prevent this? wristbands? any product to prevent this damn thing?

i'll post pics as soon as i have 10 posts or more.

I don't think you can do anything about it. The friction from your hand is essentially polishing the matte finish so that it smooths out the imperfections and makes it glossier. Aside from repainting the guitar I don't think there's anything you can do to fix it or keep it from happening. Maybe I'm wrong and someone else might correct me. Suede black and suede red I think have the same problems.
Like powder cosmo, Ibanez is good at making cool finishes that look "metal" in the store, but don't stand up well to continued real-world use. They should maybe paint the RGD7321 flat black like the RG7321 and call it a day.

I've had decent results blending the surface of these matte finishes with Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. They do a really good job of cleaning them also. Although it won't look perfect, it will help to matte the pollished spots a little and blend them into the rest.
