Question Help Identify this JC

I have a J custom I bought back in 2000-1 and my brother(the actual guitar player lol) played it for years but we have moved apart, doing research on it I cannot find which model it, it has a non ink stamped 16016 on the back of the head stock. I am missing the model number, where is it usually located?

PICS

Re: Help Identify this JC

6 String?

My guess, RG6CST, or S6CST.

Which depends on if it was an RG, or S.

Is this a rare guitar? I thought I read only 12 of each model was made, any other info would be awesome.

Re: Help Identify this JC

Also, what would be a fair asking price? It does have a few dents and dings but otherwise in good condition. And tell me more about the semi-hollow body, I am a newb at guitars in case you didn't realize.
