Help Identifying a Neck

I just purchased an Ibanez neck that was supposed to be off an RG.

It isn't like any Ibanez neck I have ever seen.

It's an Ibanez neck, alright, but the heal is different. It is a standard heal, but doesn't have the expected fret board extension for the 23rd & 24th frets. That part of it looks exactly like a Jackson or Charvel with just a slight extension.

Also, the headstock is longer than a normal RG neck and it has cream binding with black dot inlay on a maple board.

Nothing is stamped on the heal and any markings on the headstock are gone.

Pics for those that want to see it can be sent.

Any body have any idea?

I was thinking it could be some kind of EX series but nothing matches that description at all. I could almost surely identify it with photos that include the neck heel, the headstock (front and back) including the nut area, and the fretboard. You can e-mail it if you can't post the pictures.

Thanks Frank.
PM your email addy and I'll get you pics tonight.
I can't use the neck...so when I find out what it is, it will be available here in the classified section.

Here's the body it came off of.
It looks like an early EX model...but not sure of what model.

Body looks like an EX 3700, which that neck would match spec-wise(binding, maple, dots).
