Help id'ing 87 RG120(roadstar)

I'm looking into buying an 87 rg120. The price is right but looking at the pics the serial number looks misleading. I thought all old rg roadstar models were built in Japan but the sticker on the back of the head stock says made in korea and starts with a "P" Here are pics. Whats this guitar worth? Pennies???

Made in Korea is more than likely correct. Typical of lower end Ibanez guitars.
Both stickers are spot on in terms of material and placement. As far as value, I'd
say $150-$200 depending on condition. Interesting that this catalog shot doesn't
show the power rocker dx bridge being offered on the RG120, but the one your
looking at has it...

Looks kinda like a Kahler Fulcrom to me. I'll have to ask for more pics. The guy wants 75 bucks for it which sounds reasonable to me. The thing is if the build quality is shotty then I dont want it. How was the build quality in Korea back in the 80's?

It is a Fulcrum bridge. I blew up the pic and its official. Any specs on the necks of these guitars?

If those pics are from the seller, the case alone is worth $40-$50 alone.
I have never played a Korean Ibanez guitar from that time period so I can't give
you answer on the quality, BUT for $75 I think it's a slam dunk if it comes
with the case. Think of it this way, for $75 you have some room for new
pickups and a good set up,and you could still be in it for about $250-$275.

In my opinion, If you take a halfway decent guitar that (at least) has the right
neck profile for your taste, put good pickups in it and most important,
get a GOOD set up.Then you will have great guitar for a lot less than
an more expensive guitar.

If it's anything like this, http://www.ibanez.co.jp/anniversary/...t_id=156&now=1
You will LOVE it (if you like a thin neck). I have one of these in white and the neck is soooooo fast!!!
Even though this catalog shot is from an 1988 catalog, mine has a F7XXXX ser # AND mine also says
"Roadstar Series" on the head stock as well. So, the necks could be very close....
