Re: Help me identify this Ibanez

Judging from the pics in the link you gave, the RG192 is a HH, 24 fret, AANJ

this one HSH, 22 fret, old heel. A close relative to RG192 maybe?

Re: Help me identify this Ibanez

I don't think it's an RG, is it? RG's never came with that bridge.

Looks more like an EX series to me.

Like on this page: http://www.ibanezrules.com/catalogs/us/1989/ex.jpg
But that colour wasn't available in 1989.

Re: Help me identify this Ibanez

My EX doesn't have the "swish" on the headstock. Different model though, but I haven't seen one on the net with it.

Till NOW!! D'oh (changes foot)

Re: Help me identify this Ibanez

Yeah that logo is throwing me, thought it was an EX, just that logo is not the EX one.

Re: Help me identify this Ibanez

Hmmm, very weird, is the hole for the trem arm a actual hole or just the top of the body like it looks like in the pick, if so this might be a frankenibanez.

Re: Help me identify this Ibanez

EX's have rounded body edges, so I don't think it's that.

Re: Help me identify this Ibanez

Been browsing through ibanezregister.com. RX650 comes with pickguard, but I sense that we're getting close. It could be an RX or RT.
