Help Needed on Decision

Hey All,

I got a trade offer and need some outside opinions, it is really tempting me.

I was offered an American Deluxe Strat (S-S-S) for my '87 RFR 550 and '91 PN 570 and now am conflicted...

Re: Help Needed on Decision

Although I love strats, I wouldn't trade two RGs for it, especially a RFR 550.

Re: Help Needed on Decision

Not a trade that I would make. I wouldn't trade unless it was a vintage strat.

Re: Help Needed on Decision

I'm biased in my opinion obviously but I wouldn't trade a good RG for anything; Strat or otherwise. I certainly wouldn't trade a '91 RG570PN for one. Definitely not two RG's!

Re: Help Needed on Decision

If you're happy with the '91, then no. If you never play it you might as well try something else. In that trade (given both being in good shape) I would say you are on the losing end. But if it results in a guitar you like vs one you never play, then it's a win for you.

Re: Help Needed on Decision

Damn two RG's for one Strat....i used to have the RG570PN in the 90ties and really liked it(still miss it a little) and that color is damn cool. With that being said, i wouldn't trade them. Give me the 570 instead...i will care for it...
