Ok, so I have this RG350M from 2009 with EdgeIII that is getting a pickup-upgrade.. And regarding that, I need a wiring-diagram to do it right..
I've never done this before, so I figured I'd try it on a 350.. But is there anythng I must not do?
Anything I can do wrong, so that the pickup won't be properly connected?
### And if I want to change all the old cables (excluding the ones attached to the new pickups of course) - What do I search for on evilbay?
I mean, are there any standard cables that can be used?
I'll use stock wolume- tone- and switch-parts, so the only things getting an upgrade will be the pickups..
Oh, and how do I know for sure that the pickups are not upside-down, like, mounted the wrong way in the pickguard, when there is no writing on them
(I don't know if there is writing on the pickups I'm getting, this is more of a general question)?
The pickups will most likely be (if it matters for the wiring in any way), because it was the only pink ones I was able to find which could be shipped to Norway:
Neck - DiMarzio Evolution DP158
Single - DiMarzio Evolution ISCV2
Bridge - DiMarzio Evolution DP159
I want to wire the pickups (H-S-H) like this:
1st position: Neck pickup
2nd position: Split neck-pickup & single coil
3rd position: Single coil
4th position: Split bridge-pickup & single coil
5th position: Bridge-pickup
Found a picture on the net to llustrate it (which I guess is typical JEM/RG-config?):
