I dont want to take my 1077XL out for gigs, but Id really like a guitar with a 27" scale. I see these new Agile's are baritones, and certainly inexpensive enough:

Anyone played one?

I haven't owned one myself, but a bunch of guys over at sevenstring.org have. It's been a mixed bag - if you get a good one, they're decent enough player guitars. However, I've seen a few with fairly shoddy finishing, including one memorably with a trem saddle that actually hung over the edge of the route, so that if you did a full dive it'd come in contact with the edge of the guitar.

My advice? Just gig with your 1077. It's way too nice a guitar to treat as eye candy.
