Question How is this J-Custom graphix made ? pics inside

Hi all

I was spending a good 20 minutes starring at my new guitar and wondering how the hell it was made, and not only that how they made 18 identical version, or are they all slightly different ?

I thought maybe they painted the guitar with different colored coats and then sanded them off in strategic places, but really I have no idea, can someone shed any light.

Cheers !!

Painted white, airbrushed light pink then dark pink then cleared at a guess?

Handpainted, like all the RG PAINTs.

I think your concept is pretty accurate, based on the way the RG-Paints all look.

I'm thinking sand blasting, though.

I'm willing to bet the pink color is the base coat, everything else is airbrushed, why? because there is no unevenness and bleed through in the large areas of the pink, unlike the rest of the colors, this is evident near the neck screws and the lower horn tip.

Does that explain how all 18 of the guitars are identical, I didn't know you could airbrush identical ??

they are so far from identical its not even funny. The painter followed a set pattern to make them all look relatively the same, thats it.
